Performance Evaluation of Applications Applied Low/Adaptive Precision The use of low/adaptive precision has been investigated as an increasing performance for applications whose bottlenecks are memory bandwidth. In particular, adaptive precision has drawn attention as a method that balances performance improvement with the accuracy requirements of each application. The adaptive precision implementation methods are generally classified into Array of Structure type and Structure of Array type. This talk introduces two kinds of implementations and discusses their application to different applications and performance evaluation results.
