35th Advanced Supercomputing Environment Seminar (ASE Seminar) held

On March 5, 2018 (Monday), 13:00 – 14:10, the 35th Advanced Supercomputing Environment Seminar (ASE Seminar) was held in the Teleconference Room (4F 413) of the Information Technology Center, the University of Tokyo (Asano district). This seminar is held irregularly, led by guest lecturers from Japan and overseas.
For the 35th ASE Seminar, we invited guest lecturer Scott B. Baden from the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in the United States. He discussed the methods of reducing communications costs and means of communications concealment from the perspective of reconfiguring programming languages and MPI applications.
